W. Howard Klatt, Esquire
W. Howard Klatt has over twenty years of legal experience. Howard is a native of Brooke County, WV and he and his two children currently make Wheeling, WV their home.
Howard Klatt graduated from West Virginia University in 1986 with a degree in Political Science. He was a member of the Political Science Honorary Fraternity and graduated summa cum laude from WVU undergrad.
After graduating from college Howard Klatt attended the West Virginia University College of Law graduating in 1989 in the top third of the class.
Immediately thereafter, Howard Klatt took a job with the Public Defender’s Office for the Second Judicial Circuit gaining four years of valuable courtroom experience. Howard was then hired by the law firm of Hartley and O’Brien where he represented victims of toxic material in courts from Cincinnati, Ohio to Pittsburgh, PA and also in Workers Compensation hearings in Charleston, WV.
Howard was then offered and accepted a position with the firm of Bordas, Bordas and Jividen, one of the largest plaintiff law firms in the tri-state area. At Bordas, Howard Klatt gained invaluable experience representing people injured as a result of automobile accidents, medical negligence, insurance company misconduct, and a variety of other related claims and lawsuits.
Bordas, Bordas and Jividen split in 2001 and Howard continued to practice with Jividen Law Offices as an attorney representing common people injured as a result of the careless acts of others.
Howard left Jividen Law Offices in 2003 and started Klatt Law Offices. He brought with him over twenty years of experience representing and counseling people needing help for all varieties of legal problems. Howard Klatt has been involved in a variety of cases from capital murder trial to multimillion dollar civil trials. He has brought all that experience to Klatt Law Offices.
